Homeownership Resource Fair Draws Record Attendance

On January 31st, Center of Hope CDC proudly partnered with the Los Angeles County Assessor's Office to host a record-breaking Homeownership Resource Fair that welcomed 184 attendees and 25 community partners for a comprehensive day of education, access, and empowerment.

The Assessor’s Office shared that this was the most well-attended and successful resource fair they have hosted to date — a significant milestone that underscores the strong demand for trusted, accessible homeownership information in our community.

This year’s fair provided practical, timely guidance on some of the most pressing housing issues facing families today. A featured headliner session on California’s Proposition 19 helped attendees better understand family inheritance, property tax transfers, and generational wealth protection. Attorneys were present to provide information on probate and trusts, while housing professionals offered support for first-time homebuyers, homebuying preparation, tax assessment questions, and real estate navigation.

We extend our sincere thanks to our valued partners — the Los Angeles County Assessor's Office, Neighborhood Housing Services of Los Angeles County, and the Inglewood Board of Realtors — for their collaboration and leadership in making this event possible.
